MOST UNDERRATED ALBUMS OF 2022.
Spotify wrapped is out and that means 2022’s musical era is over. After reminiscing and rummaging through old playlists and songs I listened to way back in January, I came up with a list of the best albums of 2022.
Best and Under-rated Albums of the Year.
Starting off with albums by smaller artists who haven’t yet gotten the recognition they deserve…
Skinny Fia - Fontaines D.C.

‘I love you’ Fontaines!
The first single the band released from the album, and it was beautiful. The bands passion in this album is inspiring and screaming along to the songs is essential. After seeing some songs from the album performed live, it can be said that the energy is carried on stage. Even the slower songs will have you head bopping with their enticing Irish accents.
Maybe in Another Life - Easy Life

Easy Life performed songs from their new album at Glastonbury, Truck Festival and on their tour this year. After a delay in the release, these songs created a new genre and achieved a new high for the band.
Mellow Moon - Alfie Templeman

As a young guy in his early years of his music career, Alfie brings high energy and catchy tunes in his 2022 album. As well as this, he includes some emotional songs he wrote in lockdown. In an interview on the Pending Podcast he said writing the songs was ‘like his therapy’.
Caprisongs - FKA Twigs

Tahliah Debrett Barnett (known as FKA Twigs) started as a backup dancer for musicians in London and this year has released her genre-bending album. Which I would call her best album yet.
Shoals - Palace

The alternative rock band released its third album this year. After this, they appeared at some festivals throughout the summer including truck festival and life is beautiful. The album toured in Europe, USA and Australia since being released at the beginning of the year.
